Facial Massage & Lymphatic Flow

A few minutes of upward facial massage reduces puffiness and briefly improves skin tone and product absorption.

How it works

The face drains lymph toward nodes at the jaw and neck; gentle directional massage accelerates fluid clearance (the de-puff effect) and increases local microcirculation.

The practice

With clean hands or a cool tool over moisturized skin: sweep from center outward and downward along the neck, 2–5 minutes. Morning for puffiness, evening as ritual.

The tradition

Ayurvedic and East-Asian facial traditions

Cautions

  • ⚠ Feather-light pressure — facial lymph vessels are superficial.
  • ⚠ Avoid active breakouts.
