The agreement, in plain language

Cheerayu is a general-wellness companion: education, self-tracking, practice guidance, and lifestyle information drawing on Ayurveda, yoga, breathwork, and modern research. It is not a medical device and not a healthcare provider. It never diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease; its scores and insights are wellness information, not clinical measurements. Always consult a qualified clinician for medical symptoms, before changing treatment, and before starting supplements or fasting if you are pregnant, nursing, a minor, or managing a condition. In an emergency, contact emergency services — not an app.

You must be 18 or older. Keep your password and recovery codes safe — the local-first design means we cannot reset what we cannot see. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion is immediate and complete.

Cheerayu's Concierge recommends product archetypes and connects you to independent vendors. Marketplace purchases are contracts between you and the vendor — the vendor is the seller of record and handles payment — on its own secured checkout for Concierge links, or in Cheerayu for Marketplace orders, fulfillment, returns, and product liability. Cheerayu charges vendors a platform commission (20% of item price, never of tax or shipping) and may earn affiliate commissions on outbound links; this is disclosed in-app and never changes what is recommended. We curate for authenticity standards but do not manufacture, warehouse, or warrant vendor products.

Don't abuse the service: no unauthorized access attempts, no scraping other users' data, no reselling the service, no unlawful use. Household circles and any future community surfaces require basic decency — we may remove access for abuse.

Your data is yours (see the Privacy Policy — export and deletion are built in). The Cheerayu name, design, Codex, and software are ours or our licensors'; we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app.

No medical advice. Cheerayu — including its scores, insights, rituals, guided practices, the Sage, the Concierge, the Apothecary, the Codex, and every recommendation — provides general health, wellness, and lifestyle information for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on the service is, or should be taken as, medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for professional medical care.

No professional relationship. Cheerayu is not a healthcare provider, is not a medical device, and is not licensed to practice medicine, nutrition, psychology, or any other regulated profession. Using the service does not create a physician–patient, practitioner–client, or any other professional relationship. Any information you share about your health, diet, or history is used only to personalize general wellness content — it is never a clinical assessment.

Always consult a licensed professional. If you have, or suspect you have, any symptoms or medical condition — physical or mental — you must consult a licensed physician or other qualified health professional. Consult a professional before starting, stopping, or changing any medication, supplement, botanical, diet, fasting practice, exercise, or breathing practice — especially if you are pregnant, nursing, trying to conceive, under 18, elderly, or living with a chronic condition. Never disregard, avoid, or delay professional advice because of something you read or heard on Cheerayu.

Emergencies. Cheerayu is not for emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) or go to the nearest emergency facility immediately.

Evidence, traditions, and AI. Content draws on traditional systems (Ayurveda, yoga, naturopathy) and on published research of varying strength; evidence grades are our editorial assessment, not clinical guidance. AI-generated responses may be incomplete or incorrect and are provided without warranty. Individual results vary; no outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Products, services, and third parties. Products and services surfaced through the Concierge or sold in the Marketplace are manufactured, sold, and fulfilled by independent third-party vendors, who are solely responsible for their safety, labeling, quality, and legality. Cheerayu does not manufacture, endorse, or guarantee any product and is not a party to your purchase; authenticity checklists are informational aids, not certifications. Read labels, follow package directions, and consult a pharmacist or clinician about interactions.

Assumption of risk. You are responsible for your own health decisions. Your use of Cheerayu, and any action you take based on it, is voluntary and at your own risk.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement; we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any personal injury, health outcome, or loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on its content or on any third-party product or service; and our total liability is capped at the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid us in the past 12 months. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Sadhaka and Chirāyu memberships renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly term until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Membership with one tap; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term and no further charges are made. Prices are shown before you subscribe; we notify you before any price change. Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until it ends, and cancelling during the trial costs nothing. Refunds are handled case by case for genuine errors; write to hello@cheerayu.com within 14 days of a charge.

Bookings made through the Concierge are requests to an independent provider, who confirms, performs, and is responsible for the service; Cheerayu is not a party to it. Cancellation and no-show terms are the provider's and are shown when you book. Marketplace orders are paid in Cheerayu and fulfilled by the vendor named on the listing, who remains the seller of record and handles returns under the policy shown on the listing; contact them within 14 days of delivery, and copy hello@cheerayu.com if you need help. Sample listings marked as such cannot be purchased.

The Sage (the Maharishi), the Meal Lens, the Concierge, and the weekly letter are AI systems. No human reviews your conversations, and no human practitioner is behind them. They are designed to inform and suggest within general wellness, may be incomplete or wrong, and are never medical advice. You should not rely on them for decisions about diagnosis, treatment, or medication.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cheerayu is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; consumers keep any non-waivable protections of their home country. We prefer to resolve any dispute directly — write to legal@cheerayu.com first. You agree to indemnify Cheerayu against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us.
